Good Morning Belzer Family,
I hope you are enjoying this wonderful weather as we head into the weekend! Below is important information about our upcoming "Try On" nights and our "Experience Choir" night.
Good Morning Incoming 7th Grade Families!
My name is Heather Nieto, and I am the Belzer Middle School Performing Arts Director. Band, Orchestra, and Choir are a very large part of the Belzer Bruin’s culture! Over half of the Belzer student body is involved in Band, Orchestra, and/or Choir. The Performing Arts in Lawrence Township starts in 7th grade, so it's the time to join so your student can participate all the way through 12th grade! Students at Belzer who participate in the performing arts tend to achieve more academically and be more involved socially with their teachers and peers.
We strongly encourage you and your child to join us next week to see what our classes are all about, try out some instruments, sing, and meet our teachers! Don’t limit your options…come to one of the Band/Orchestra nights AND the Experience Choir night so you can make an informed decision about your child’s schedule for next year. Already completed your child’s elective schedule for next year? Not to worry! We work directly with Mr. Landers, our 7th grade counselor, to help your family find the best fit for your child.
