Hello Bruin fans, We are the 2017-2018 MIIC All-Sports Champions for Boys Sports! As we look back on the year, we have a lot to celebrate. Over 100 student athletes made the honor roll each athletic season. We had individual conference champions in cross country, wrestling, swimming and diving, and track and field. 27 different school records were broken. 8 teams were conference or county runners-up and our boys cross country team was Marion County Champions. Hello Bruin fans, Our Baseball team finished their season last night losing to Eastwood Middle School 6-4. The boys finished the season 8-3 and 7-1 in the MIIC for a conference runner-up finish for the second consecutive year. Softball also finished the season last night vs Eastwood. They defeated the Eagles and finished third in the conference at 6-2 overall. Earlier in the week the girls defeated Creekside and lost to Mt. Vernon. Hello Bruin fans,  Track and Field opened the week with wins over Raymond Park for both the boys and girls teams. The boys won 68-46 and the girls won 95-13. The regular season ended for our track team last night in a defeat to Fall Creek Valley. Despite the losing effort, we set three school records. Bennett Dubois broke the boys 800M record with a time of 2:10. Hello Bruin fans, Track and Field had a good showing on Monday night as both boys and girls teams defeated Lynhurst. The boys won by a score of 74-40 and swept the 200 M, 400M, 800M, 2400M runs and the relays. The girls won 86.5-27.5 and swept the 100M Hurdles, 100M, 200M, and 800M and the relays. The 4X100M relay team also broke the school record for the third time this year lowering their time to 51.784 seconds. The race that was cancelled last night vs Southport will not be made up. Hello Bruin fans,  Track and Field split last night with Creston. The girls were victorious 69-45 while the boys lost 63-51. The girls swept the 100M and the 400M as well as one all three relays. The boys won both the 3200 and 1600M relays and swept the 800M, 2400M and High Jump. Baseball remains undefeated in conference play after their 6-2 win over Westlane on Wednesday. Hello Bruin fans and Happy Earth Day, Track and Field ran well again this week. They had two triangle meets and finished 2nd out of three in both of them. The boys 4X800 team broke the school record again on Tuesday lowering the record for a third consecutive meet. Baseball split its contests with Fall Creek Valley. Hello Bruin fans, The improving weather has finally allowed our spring competitions to get underway. Track and Field kicked off the season with convincing wins in our triangle meet on Tuesday vs Heritage Christian and Fortune Academy. Last night both boys and girls finished 2nd in a triangular meet with Zionsville West and Northview. So far on the young season, we have seen three relay records fall already. Hello Bruin fans, The unpredictable weather here in Indiana has delayed the beginning of competitions for our athletes, but the weather forecast for next week is looking up and we have a full slate of contests scheduled. Hello Bruin Fans, We are the Boys MIIC ALL-SPORTS WINTER CHAMPIONS! Congratulations go out to all the hard work of all our boys teams this winter for this accomplishment. In the past week, we had two different teams take 2nd place at the conference championships to help push us our school points to the top of the list.
